All the Valentine’s Day decorations in the shops might be getting to my head because I can’t seem to get enough of these shades of soft petal pink. From the buttery leather of the COS tote to the harder edge of the Pamela Love rose gold bangle, this kind of pinkish hue brings out a blush in the wearer that evokes romance and young love. Yesterday, I actually almost purchased the Rachel Antonoff blush Susan top and Lena pants to wear at my friend’s wedding in Charleston until I realized that 100% wool would be a terrible idea for a June wedding down South. (I went with another one of Ms. Antonoff’s strapless concoctions, but that’s another story for another day.)
